Katy, Clear Lake or The Woodlands — whichever is the easiest Saturday drive. Sessions start four times a year and the program is identical at all three.

Ten Saturdays, then your state exam
Lectures on demand during the week, hands-on lab every Saturday. After graduation you sit the TSBDE exam — already paid for — and become a Registered Dental Assistant.

How long is dental assistant school?
At HDAS, ten weeks — one Saturday a week plus four to five hours of on-demand lecture. Nationally, programs run from nine months to two years.
How much does it cost?
$3,550 all in — books, supplies, BLS certification and the TSBDE state exam included. Payment plans start with $975 down.
Do I need any experience?
None. Most students start with no dental background. You need a high school diploma, GED or 12+ college credit hours.
Can I keep working while I train?
That's what the format is for. Lab is Saturdays only and lectures are on demand — most of our students work full time.
